Careers
Help us eliminate barriers to graduation for youth experiencing homelessness. Working at HYC means taking on the needs of those who are most vulnerable and most at risk of dropping out of school. It’s building strength, resiliency and success. It’s helping to build the confidence they need to pursue their dreams and to achieve the goals they set for themselves. It’s making a difference in our community.
Below are current open positions. If you are interested in applying, please download and complete the employment application and email along with a cover letter, including desired salary range and a copy of your resume to: Robin Miller, rmiller@hycaz.org.

Grievance Policy
It is the policy of Homeless Youth Connection to hear all client complaints and concerns and to support the dignity and rights of all individuals served.
“HYC means a lot to me. Being able to work with so many students from different walks of life and being able to walk alongside them throughout the school year has been amazing.”
“HYC is a place where I can make a difference and pour into young adults who are experiencing difficulties not just in education but in all matters of life. It gives me the opportunity to mentor, coach and most of all to lift and provide encouragement and support to those in need.”
“HYC has touched my heart in profound ways. It has allowed me to build relationships with the student population I serve, and it allows me a wide variety of opportunities to create change.”
“HYC is a special place for me, it has allowed me to work with and help kids who remind me so much of myself and for me that is very much therapeutic.”
“The only way to do great work is to love what you do. I see this each day from everyone who represents HYC. Everyone is so passionate about not only helping our youth succeed, but also creating change in our community.”
