Ms. Bogart has 30 years’ experience working with nonprofit organizations. She began her career with America West Airlines, where she managed the air travel donation program with $3 million distributed annually to local, state and national nonprofit organizations.
After America West, Ms. Bogart served in a leadership capacity for 17 years at Homeward Bound. In addition to implementing a multi-faceted development and fundraising program, she assisted with the development and implementation of numerous programs which provided housing and support services to more than 700 individuals annually.
For the past two years, Ms. Bogart has served as the Executive Director of Homeless Youth Connection, which provides basic necessities and resources to ensure homeless teens stay in school and graduate. In the past two years, she has implemented the Host Family program to address the housing needs of unaccompanied youth, as well as expanded and enhanced the Mentor program to assist homeless youth with their “plan for the future.” She has also implemented a multi-faceted development and fundraising program, including support through grants from local corporations and nonprofits and additional special event to increase individual donor support.
Ms. Bogart has experience in fundraising, nonprofit management, program development and implementation, donor development and recognition, volunteer development, event management, strategic planning, and fiscal management. She also has an extensive working relationship with Valley corporations, foundations, the ecumenical community, service organizations, United Way and government entities. She has raised over $15 million for homeless families and children.
